Bicycle Officer Struck - DUI Arrest -
A drunken driving accident landed a California visitor in jail during the Elko Motorcycle Jamboree, A Nevada Highway Patrol investigation confirmed 66-year-old Michael Turner was under the influence when he struck a bike patrol officer in downtown last weekend. Police Sergeant Jason Pepper has undergone tests since the accident that left him briefly hospitalized and continues to be off duty.
