An argument following a barbeque escalated into a fatal shooting at a remote Elko County site over Labor Day Weekend. Sheriff Jim Pitts reports a 24-year-old man was killed in the Sunday night disturbance at Currie where there is a small store and RV parking. 59-year-old shooter Glenn Mead was booked on an unrelated warrant. The sheriff's office is continuing their investigation.
