Elko County Sage Grouse Preservation Plan -
An Elko County Sage Grouse Preservation Plan is moving ahead, a select group met Tuesday to form recommendations they say reflect local concerns over a U.S. Fish and Wildlife proposal to possibly list the bird as endangered. County Commissioner Charlie Myers says, hopes are the local plan will be adopted by the state advisory panel.
