Law Enforcement Memorial Parade.
Elko County Sheriff's Deputy Lenwood Van Natter led the way during the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Parade in Virginia City earlier this month. It was a first time the parade featured a Grand Marshal as Elko County Sheriff Jim Pitts described. Our deputy, who survived a hail of assault-rifle bullets while responding to a domestic violence call last year, received a hero's welcome.
