Wednesday, October 12, 2011 - Elko County Sheriff Jim Pitts says he welcomes an NDI probe into the improper use of a county credit card by his Undersheriff Rick Keema. Pitts said the purchases made by Keema were not intentional and he's confident the investigation, as first reported by the Elko Daily Free Press, will clear his administration of intentional wrongdoing. Keema was named Elko County Undersheriff in March after working for several months for the department as a contract employee.
