All Risk County Fire Protection
Elko County Commissioners are learning more about the expense of operating an All Risk Fire Protection District after hearing from consultant Gary Zunino during yesterday's regular meeting. The county currently spends about 2.2 million dollars annually toward the state service, the so-called hidden costs of operation are starting to surface including workers comp, heart and lung coverage and dispatch.
