BLM Hosts Noble Energy Forum -
Houston based Noble Energy proposes to extract billions of gallons of oil from deep beneath the high desert of northeastern Nevada. If the exploration currently underway proves successful, the company plans to begin hydraulic fracturing in at least two Elko County locations, possibly as early as summer. The Bureau of Land Management hosted Noble and a BLM spokesman during a public forum, about 80 people attended.
