Bicycle Patrol Officer Struck by Car -
The Elko Motorcycle Jamboree resulted in numerous alcohol-related arrests over the weekend including a suspected drunk driver who allegedly struck a bicycle patrol officer on duty during the event. The driver suspected of striking Sergeant Jason Pepper has been identified as 66-year-old Michael Turner of Del Mar, California. Turner was being held on first-time DUI and other counts related to the accident which is under investigation by the NHP.
