Blue Jeans From Italy
The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is an assemblage of performers, writers, musicians and artists. You'll find a collection now on display in the "Wiegand Gallery" inside the historic Pioneer Hotel in downtown Elko; that includes the history of blue jeans, worn by miners, sailors and cowboys: denim originated in Italy, one of the many stories told during the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering.
