Elko City Council Election Results
Two successors were chosen from a field of five hopefuls in the race for Elko City Council. For the first time, the city election aligned with the county, state and national contests. Robert Schmidtlein and Mandy Simons were the top vote getters, Simons also made history winning election alongside her husband, Mason who won the JP race.
