Elko County Honors Senator Dean Rhoads
Longtime Nevada lawmaker Dean Rhoads was singled out during Wednesday's regular Elko County Commission meeting. State Senator Rhoads was first elected to the Nevada Assembly in 1976 although he initially had his eye on a county commission seat. Commission Chairman Glen Guttry led the honors that included his wife, Sharon Rhoads, the family ranches in Tuscarora.
