Elko School Security Concerns
The Superintendent of Elko County Schools is reminding parents that students will be heading out for a long winter break following class today. Jeff Zander acknowledged that while there are lingering concerns about school security following the recent tragedy in Connecticut, there have been no threats to local schools. He hopes parents will find an added police presence reassuring.
