Great Basin College faculty are sending word to Nevada lawmakers that proposed state budget cuts are discouraging students, professors say many are already seeking education elsewhere. GBC Faculty Senate adopted a resolution urging lawmakers to fully fund mitigation as impacts to the new Regent Funding Formula are realized. Regent Kevin Melcher offered an optimistic view during Friday's meeting.
