The Elko City Council has approved the purchase of 35 brand-new Yamaha Golf Carts, blue in color, at a cost of $139,000. The acquisition is a first under a new golf pro agreement in which the city will own and recoup all but 20-percent of the rental fees with proceeds to benefit future Ruby View improvements.
