Lidia and Cris Cortes Adopt Children
The children of an Elko mother allegedly murdered by her estranged husband almost two years ago have been formally adopted by their grandparents. The move is meant to bring more stability to the lives of the youngsters and their family. Lidia Cortes' daughter, Stephanie, was killed during a rage of domestic violence. Eduardo Estrada is wanted by local and federal authorities as the only suspect in Stephanie's murder.
