The Bureau of Land Management is continuing to monitor grazing, development and recent fire damage impacts to Sage Grouse under terms of Interim Guidance, Afederal order establishing additional protection for the chicken-sized bird as federal agencies evaluate local efforts to avoid a protected species listing.
