Newly Elected Judges Sworn In
Family and friends gathered at the Elko County Courthouse Friday for swearing in ceremonies for newly-elected judges. Mason Simons was chosen by voters to replace Judge Al Kacin in Elko Justice Court. Andrew Mierns, most recently an Elko County Public Defender, was appointed to replace Simons as Family Court Master.
