Spartans Loses in Final Minutes
Saturday, November 10,2007- The Spring Creek Football team was up 20-7 in the final 5 minutes of the game and Moapa Valley came back to score two touchdowns to make the final score 21-20. Moapa Valley will now advance to the State Championship game next week.
The other big local game of the night was Carlin defeating Alamo 26-24 to advance to the state championship.

Thursday, October 25, 2007- The Spring Creek Spartans had a 42-0 lead at the half in their home game against Lowry. The Elko Indians struggled to find the end zone Thursday night in their final game of the season. The football playoffs begin next week.

For the first time in school history the Elko girls cross country team has qualified for state. And the Elko girls soccer team enters their playoff game today against Douglas as the #2 team in the tournament, that is also a first in school history. The Elko boys soccer team faces Douglas as well in tomorrow first round boys soccer tournament.

Local Football Teams Lose Friday Night
Saturday, October 6, 2007 - The Elko and Spring Creek football teams made the 600 mile roound trip Friday night to face league opponents. Elko scored 8 points in the fourth quarter to lose to Galena 49-8. Elko will head back down to Sparks next week to face Reed.
The Spring Creek Spartans were shut-out by Sparks 19-0. Spring Creek will also be back on the road next week at Fernley.
